The TSHIMA Board members collectively have years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings, developing a vast amount of knowledge and a number of networking contacts throughout those years. Whether you are new to the Health Information Management (HIM) field or if you have been in the field awhile and want to learn more about TSHIMA and AHIMA you are encouraged and invited to actively seek the advice and experiential knowledge of our Board members.
Volunteerism is an important means to develop your network of HIM contacts. Partner with a Board member and offer your knowledge by participating on a committee such as Program and Education or learn about the roles of each Board member.
Consider being a candidate for a Board position now or when you have attained your AHIMA credentials. You are instrumental in leading the HIM profession into the future.
Contact information for each Board member is on our About Us – Executive Board section of the website. At the same location, you will also find the job descriptions for each Board position.

TSHIMA is seeking quality speakers for our education sessions on topics that are pertinent to the health information management profession that may impact us on both a national and state level. If you are a speaker or can recommend a speaker please contact our TSHIMA Program and Education Director at programs@nhhima.org.
