MeHIMA Annual Conference

The Maine Health Information Management Association (MeHIMA) is celebrating its 75th anniversary and we want you to be part of the celebration! We have a great lineup of education, networking and FUN! There are big surprises in store, but you need to register to be part of the action.

• Select which breakout sessions you want to attend
• Email or mail (with check) your completed registration form
• Reach out to your colleagues, share the registration information, and encourage them to register too – This is a celebration after all…

We are also excited to share some 2026/2027 Strategic Initiatives

The MeHIMA Board has been meeting monthly to explore new ways to  strengthen our organization and ensure that our members receive the greatest possible value from
their membership. Our goal is to redefine and enhance the MeHIMA experience while continuing to support and advocate for health information professionals across Maine.

Some of the initiatives currently underway include:

• Evaluating and improving member engagement and services.
• Exploring a redesign and modernization of the MeHIMA website to provide greater value and resources for members.
• Providing timely updates and reports from Advocacy Summits and House of Delegate sessions attended on behalf of our membership.
• Reviewing and updating our bylaws to align with current industry standards and organizational best practices.
• Reintroducing member awards and recognition programs to celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements of our members.
• Delivering more comprehensive and transparent treasury reports to keep members informed about the organization’s financial health.

As our industry continues to evolve, MeHIMA must take a proactive approach to supporting, educating, and advocating for our members. We welcome your ideas, feedback, and suggestions as we shape the future of our association together. Please feel free to share your thoughts with any member of the Board.
